The
water cycle is mad of (Evaporation , Condensation , Precipitation ( rain ) )
Evaporation :The word
evaporate means to change state from a liquid to a gas or vapor. The atoms or
molecules of the liquid make this change of state spontaneously, and we usually
think of evaporation as taking place a bit on the slow side over a period of
time. This is the contrast of evaporation to boiling, where they are
"actively" and "quickly" driven into the change of state.
Condensation : Condensation is the process of a
substance changing from a gas to a liquid. when you get water on the inside of
a window. The window has water vapour on it. The the cold rain hits the warmer
surface of the window which has water vapour on. When water vapour is cooled it
turns into water (a liquid. The water will then start to drip down on the
inside of the window because the water vapour which was on the inside of the
window has been cooled. And then turned in to a liquid!
Condensation
is what the clouds are called
The water
evaporates into the sky on a sunny day and becomes clouds in the sky the
changing of a gas into a liquid.
Precipitation : In meteorology, precipitation (also
known as one of the classes of hydrometeors, which are atmospheric water
phenomena) is any product of the condensation of atmospheric water vapour that
is deposited on the earth's surface. Precipitation is generated in clouds. When
water vapor droplets in clouds become so large that updrafts within the clouds
can no longer support them, the water will fall to the earth under the force of
gravity
Why do we call
all of that water cycle ? we call it a ‘ cycle’ because it is something that happens
over and over again it never stops.
